- What do you think “the whole world is a play house” means? What does it mean to you? I think this term could have multiple meanings but I think it represents how everyone is putting on a show for the rest of the world. Everybody is playing a role to some extent and nobody is truly upfront about who they are. We act smarter, nicer, better than we actually are and everyone else just watches.
- Do you enjoy comedies, tragedies, or histories more? Why?
I really like tragedies personally. I think they expose so many feelings that as humans, we typically suppress. I also like comedies but it's harder to find good ones. Tragedies are always very interesting and engaging to me. I love the depth to the characters and complex story lines. - What intrigues you most about Shakespearean theater? What questions do you still have about Shakespeare?
I am very intrigued by his style of writing. I've read Shakespeare in school before and I like how you have to make sense of his poetry because it is so complex and metaphorical. I am interested to learn about the words he invited and terms that we say today that he created. I probably quote him a lot more than I realize!
